High Level kits grub screw

Does anyone please know the size of the grub screws (roadrunner + but I imagine the roadrunner and other gearboxes are the same) as I've managed to ping both the ones I had across the room. Thanks.

I think they are 1.2mm , I bought Allen key sockets versions ,much stronger and a Allen key, via ebay.

Thank you.  An allen key or bigger head might make it easier for me to get in and less likely to ping off.

There’s another way to keep grub screws from pinging off into the great beyond. Get yourself some beeswax or if you have a fishing tackle supplier in the area, fly tying wax and put that on the tip of your screwdriver blade. It will give a secure hold that lasts only as long as you need it to and won’t foul the mechanism. I suspect even a dab of blutack would do in a pinch.

I find kitchen paper roll works well. I tape a sheet onto the cutting mat.
