RMweb Premium Andy Kirkham Posted December 15, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 15, 2021 (edited) I've just come across this picture of two vehicles at Green Park that I've never seen photographed before. https://www.rail-online.co.uk/p183446724/h4C49C63F#h8b5e575 Nor have I ever seen a model of this kind of thing. RMweb Premium petethemole Posted December 15, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 15, 2021 ISTR seeing similar tea trolleys at Paddington, KX and possibly Snow Hill in the early '60s. I don't remember the of ice cream cart.
Nearholmer
They look “home-made” to me, maybe the fridge being a standard item fitted to a “home made” trolley. Might no literally be made at home, perhaps at a small local workshop, but very much the sort of thing you or I could put together, rather than being sophisticated factory-built jobs like the art-deco milk bars on wheels etc that existed at London termini.
