I’ve fitted the short buffers on all the coaches to eliminate the risk of buffer lock on the helix on the layout.

Aha. I wondered if there was some consideration like that. I point these things out because other readers following your excellent craftsmanship might copy the compromises you have chosen to make, which while appropriate to your layout, might not be necessary on theirs.

When, many years ago, I built a set of the suburbans, I retained the tension lock couplings but shortened the mounting plate by about 4 mm to gain closer coupling, which has proven to be fine down to Hornby second radius curves. (In my youthful ignorance I built a set of four, one of each type; as noted above my subsequent research has shown that sets didn't mix brakes.)

The scenic part of the layout (currently under construction) has large radius curves, including transitions.  The lower storage/fiddle yard level (completed) has smaller radii down to third radius as does the helix that links the two levels.

Lining of this side is not yet complete - small lengths of vertical lining are needed just below the door windows.  These will be added tomorrow after the current lining is left to “cure” overnight.

I used Modelmaster lining decals initially  (having run out of the Fox Transfers decals) but they would not adhere so I removed them and used HMRS pressfix lining, which would.

Cheers

The lining overruns onto the black painted beading will be corrected using black enamel paint applied with the end of a cocktail stick - as will the door hinges - once the decals have set.

Cheers

Beware that you have used yellow on the perimeter (single line) and straw on the centre mouldings (straw/black/straw).

But the Fox lining does work very well on the square panel MR stock like this.  You can see my efforts by the same technique on my blog:
