Popular Post Tony North Eastern
This station has been recently finished in December 2021, which was started in febuary 2020. a daunting task right from the start, the research was very time consuming, photos where gathered from all over the web. and with photos Kindly donated by George Tullin. with drawings i set about the build. the hardest part of this project was always going to be the roof. How i was going make the roof and what materials i was going to use. Project started All windows and doors where made first, searching through the photos to work out how many of the doors and windows were needed, in the end even more were required when additional photo's came to light. every room has some kind of detail added. here are just a few of th ephotos from this once in a lifetime project.......Tony 19 20

billy_anorak59
Great stuff Tony, looks brilliant. I've been following the marathon roof build on your YouTube channel for many months now - and admiring your patience in constucting all those trusses. Thanks for the post - and glad to see you on here!
Michael Hodgson
Beautiful job. Not just the roof, that footbridge is pretty impressive too. All way above my skill levels. It looks as though it's part of a fixed layout, not one that can do the rounds of the exhibition circuit though ? Good to see 3rd rail on something other than Southern too. Poole Sider
I know many modellers who won't bother with the underside of the roof, on the assumption that people will only view it top down. The stunning work on the trusses and, indeed the footbridge, puts the lie to that thought. Terrific and impressive. Poole Sider 1
