RMweb Premium Popular Post great northern Posted October 1, 2021 Author RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted October 1, 2021 That was as long a break as I can remember. RMweb Premium Popular Post great northern Posted October 1, 2021 Author RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted October 1, 2021 An ex works A2/3 on which to feast your eyes tonight. The Up Glasgow is one of New England's more prestigious passenger turns, so 514 is the natural choice.

RMweb Premium Popular Post great northern Posted October 2, 2021 Author RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted October 2, 2021 And now back to the gleaming A2/3. Sadly, in the real world it would not have stayed like this for long, but we can be confident that in this incarnation of Peterborough North, it will.
Anthony
Gilbert, just a quick note to say how much those of us who are largely silent admirers appreciate your hard work in bringing us the twice-daily updates on your inspirational creation. Please don't ever stop! Anthony Many thanks. It does work both ways though. My innate idleness is cancelled out by the need to have something to show you, and that means that I run some trains more regularly than might otherwise happen. That is a good thing. Then there is the photoshopping, which does not require too much thought, but which is mostly rather soothing, so that's a plus for me as well. I would like to have more two way interaction if it were possible, but I've run out of ideas for polls, and I'm not clever like KNP and the lovely Little Muddle, so there are no crates about the contents of which you might speculate, nor missing doors. The pace of life is rather quicker too. I don't know where Clive finds all his videos of young ladies singing in strange languages either, so that is out too. Perhaps after all it will just have to be about looking at trains. 2

RMweb Premium Popular Post great northern Posted October 4, 2021 Author RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted October 4, 2021 These new fangled diesels are OK for secondary expresses, but when it comes to the Talisman, only an immaculate Top Shed A4 will do.

RMweb Premium Popular Post Clive Mortimore Posted October 6, 2021 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted October 6, 2021 Poor Gilbert had a gang descend on him today, well me, Steve (31A) and the Duck. After swapping models and showing new creations to each other we squeezed (speak for yourself fatty) into the operating well of his wonderful layout. Nothing fell off, we did lose a brake van under the station roof. Not many trains were run mainly as we were discussing the nice coaches in the fiddle yard. One train that did run was this very lost L&YR Class 5 2-4-2T on its journey to Sheffield Exchange. We were very lucky a young whipper snapper was on hand to take these photos and record this historical event as the usual high class photographer was too busy nattering about LNER locos and their tenders. What a loverlee sight, one of these new diesel trains which will save the railways. Thanks Gilbert, Phil and Steve for a great day. 25 1

RMweb Premium Popular Post great northern Posted October 8, 2021 Author RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted October 8, 2021 Morning all. A bit late, as I had a very rare lie in. I've been suffering with back and shoulder problems for a while, and so have not had much sleep, but my brilliant Osteopath sorted things yesterday, so what with sleep deficit and more comfort, I had a much better night. Now though, I'm told not to overdo things, so no four mile power walks. At PN, the W1 now appears on its regular afternoon duty. 22
