philip-griffiths
I am visiting England next week and will be based in Loughborough. Are there any good railway bookshops where I can get Wild Swan publications and other good railway books around Loughborough? I'll be up in Nottingham one day at least. I am particularly after some of the LMS Journal publications. many thanks Philip Griffiths
Steve Taylor
since no-one else has as yet taken the plunge and answered may I offer the following.... with not to much of a journey you can be in Matlock and taking a wander over to the station can find Bill Hudson or pay a visit to the GCR emporium at the GCR on (surprisingly) Great Central Road. He has a fantastic selection of books there, you're bound to find something of interest.
RMweb Premium Mike Bellamy Posted July 16, 2010 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 16, 2010 Why not come to the Railway Bookshop in Derby - and get a haircut from Chris at the same time If you have to go to Nottingham then GeeDee have a few books - hardly any on web site so best to phone first to see if it's worth a visit - if not then Chris in Derby will probably have what you want.
