Sandhills
A few modern image shots from this afternoons visit to the Corby MRS Show. Bit of a rushed visit due to other commitments but nice to see Mason there with the boxfile and a good selection of modern, steam, OO, N and overseas. A bit of stock from Brooke Wharf was stabled on Pilot Road for a while aswell !! Guess the layout i'm afraid as I didnt have time to note down what was what ! Maybe Mason will shed some light in a later post with a bit more of a review ?

mason
well i was at corby with pilot road, and all in all i think it went really well, ill try and give a brief outline to accompanie jons fantastic pictures. firstly though thanks to jon for coming over and taking some great shots of pilot and letting me shunt some of his lovely detailed stock, made my weekend ok as george as already commented that the first 9 pics are of llwyedd town, which i have to say is awesome and all the chaps on there, george and richard where brillent and i learnt so much from them in the 2 days, hope i didnt pester you to much then the next shots are of pilot road and then we have a small N gauge stabling point i believe onwed by peter johnston ( not sure ) and i think it was called the lane and this was pretty smart the next shots are i believe of another N gauge called stonebrigg, owned by a chap called martin and helped out by his partner in crime ben, these guys where great, they stayed over with us saturday night and we had such a laugh, thanks guys there where a few other nice looking layouts, 1 large steel works layout which was cool with some great scratchbuilt buildings and stock and a working scrap crane. the corby societys seaton layout and there member kevins wiston pond layout which looked fantastic and one of the members work in progress layouts which is a replica of kidderminster station and very much looks the part. there was also a static display from a gentleman from county durham i believe, which was some beautifully scratch built and detailed steel works wagons and locos which had me engrossed for a fair while as he was setting up. i think the exhibition was a success and for my first outting ever with pilot road, i want to personnally thank everyone and all the RM web members who gave great comments for pilot road thanks again regards neil
