br2975
He's done it again, "Ben Truck" has released another of his South Wales DVD's......... . . Vale of Glamorgan Line 1993 – 2006 ‘ish’ This DVD features not just the everyday workings one would expect to see during the years 1993-2006, but also excursions (steam and diesel, including D1015 on the Western Druid tour) diversions and engineers workings. A number of locations and vantage points are used. The Newport ADJ – Barry Docks trip is seen on several occasions with a variety of motive power, as is the Barry Dock pilot. Also a Cl.56 top and tailed excursion is seen running through the docks. Aberthaw also features, with not just the MGR trains, but also another Cl.56 /47 top and tail combo struggling out of the power station loop with what appears to be fourteen bogies on. Classes featured include Cl.08 / 31/ 37/ 47 / 52 / 56 / 58 / 60 and 66 as well as steam. I have enjoyed all of the BNT DVD’s so far released, but I must say this, to my mind, is the best so far. Now on sale at Ian Allan, Cardiff. Thoroughly recommended Brian R
