I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned but theres a new IA book in the 'for the modeller and historians' range that has recently been published. I've just ordered a copy from Amazon at £11.39 with free delivery;

Hi a;;

Just got this book and on page 15 the caption to the bottom picture is incomplete finishing in mid sentence, it reads " the line through Ashtead was electrified with the 1925 south western division scheme from Raynes Park to" any guesses what should follow?

Dorking, Old Chap, Dorking. Leatherhead - Effingham and Guildford via the New Line (i.e. Hinchley Wood) were the same day, 12th July. Total cost £833k. 67 track miles electrified. Bargain!
