RMweb Gold Colin_McLeod Posted October 9, 2009 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 9, 2009 Difficult to ignore the Egyptian Arch. Nice photograph Martin.
craigwelsh
How is the resizing on these working? Is everything automatically taken down to 700pix wide?

Hi Craig, No, it takes it down to suit your current browser window. Try resizing the browser and then doing F5 to see. Neat. However, try clicking on my picture of the Egyptian Arch to enlarge it -- there's a conflict, which is the reason it's in "test - please ignore"! regards, Martin. RMweb Gold martin_wynne Posted October 9, 2009 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted October 9, 2009 Difficult to ignore the Egyptian Arch. Nice photograph Martin. Thanks Colin. There's another picture from the other side, of the arch in the landscape at: http://www.rmweb.co....rch-newry-gnri/ We included a model of the Egyption Arch on Adavoyle, although we put it on a transition curve (on a gradient!) instead of straight, and spanning a river instead of a road. I remember doing the underlying carpentry -- tricky! For some reason the model arch doesn't often appear in photos -- you can just see it top left here: The arch featured on the reverse of UK one pound coins in 2006, see: http://www.24carat.c.../2006pound.html regards, Martin. RMweb Gold Colin_McLeod Posted October 9, 2009 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 9, 2009 Interesting to see the arch with a roundabout in front of it. I recall it with just a country road.
