Gloucester Road

With Fall in NH in full swing and leaves turning and nights drawing in I figured spring on Gloucester Road was needed. So I visited the local Dollhouse shop and had a look around; I found some small pots that would make big ornamental flower pots. The station at Gloucester Road has decided to start a station beautification process and add flowers to the platforms.

Here are the pots with a passenger for comparison,

For flowers I had thought of shaving or using a blender on some crayons but then I saw these.

Nice small colourful chopped up foam bits. The very colourful bag reminds me of flowers while the other looks like a climbing rose bush or flowering vine.

With a little static grass and some glue we get a slghtly overscale flower arangement. As long as its not placed near people it doesnt look to bad.

In the past I've used the old Graham Farish chimney pots from the plastic kits, but I've used them all up.  So I painted and cut toothpicks instaed

Then I found some fancy toothpicks

I bought some N stock this week on a bit of a whim. It sounds silly, and I must have see N, but somehow I wasn't at all prepared for how small it is. Having lurked on this thread for some time, I now appreciate your craftsmanship even more! Amazing stuff!
