R A Watson
As part of the terms of our lease with the City Council the Plymouth Club have to hold five public open days each year. The next one is Saturday 6th November, I realise that there are several R M Webbers in the wider South Hams / East Cornwall and Tamar Valley areas, as well as the City itself, to whom I extend an invitation to view our clubroom and layouts without any obligation to return if you decide not to. We are in the corner of Devonport Park at the junction of Milne Place and Exmouth Road, if coming by train alight at Devonport Station and exit through the former goods yard (now a housing estate) on the down side and we are diagonally opposite the station entrance across the road junction. Any one travelling from Cornwall can leave the car in Torpoint (foot passengers are free on the ferry) walk up Ferry Road then straight across the traffic lights along the side of the park (between the park and the old old school) until you too arrive at the entrance of the station. This s not an exhibition in the true sense of the word, but just a public club night during the daytime. Hope to see some of you there. Wally

R A Watson
Just a reminder, the next open day is Sat 08 January, Same place and times as before. Anyone who has been involved in the discussion on St Budeaux stations, and associated tangents, on here, and who is in the area feel free to call in. Albert Road Halt is just outside the back door!
