I have detailed the loco with Comet steps and buffers, I also like to weather down the lamps which often appear to clean on many models. I have used a variety of techniques here. Starting with a matt black/red base coat, some streaking by mixing white with the same mix and also some overspraying with the same mix and dirty black spray in places.....as David Sheppard has said with weathered locos...all shades of black.
