Evening all,

Spent a couple of hours in the attic just running trains. Attached are some photos showing the 2 locos used tonight. The first was a Freightliner class 70 hauling a ballast train, and the second a EWS class 60 hauling a short rake of TEA's.

Not much progress on the layout, however plenty of thoughts and ideas!

Any comments welcome.

Hi all,

I have made some changes to the layout which mainly involved moving things around as I started to get bored with certain parts of the layout.

The station has swapped places with the TMD which involved removing the concrete base which was once made from filler. The new concrete base is now made from plasticard and I am happy with it....for now!

I have also added a siding for loading / unloading of ballast which is where the town centre once was. The town is now behind the train station, however I am not happy with the current layout of this section so it is subject to change.

The fuel terminal has also been moved and is now long enough to hold all of my TEA's and the majority of my TTA's.

All comments are welcome.

Hello,

Thought I would share the latest addition to the layout which is a service station (an excuse to park my ever-growing lorry collection!).

There is also a little cameo scene involving a fuel testing operation. Police, Highways Agency and HM Revenue & Customs are all involved and have stopped the driver of a Hummer on suspicion if using red diesel!

Enjoy.

Another delayed update and more changes!

I have changed the road layout and added a housing estate which I am pleased with, however it is not finished.

The town centre has been re-located yet again and is also not finished just yet.

Enjoy the photos.

A belated Merry Christmas too all!

Will be posting some pics of my pressies very soon. Santa was very kind and delivered several O.D models and also a Bachmann Class 66 which I have wanted for a long time.

I have purchased a Lenz Silver chip for the 66 and I am looking forward to seeing how this differs from the Hornby /  Bachmann chips.

I also treated myself to a Hornby Class 153 which was won on a well known auction site. I will keep the livery a surprise for now, until the photo update.

Any suggestions on which 8 pin decoder works best in this model would be greatly appreciated.

Chris
