Churchill8F
Hello there, For a while, I had wanted to model this unique loco for my own layout, and decided to complete it recently. However, it wasn't until Warley that I managed to get the Kato shorty chassis I needed to complete the model. It may be rough, but for a bash, it's not bad in my eyes. Body is from the JB models, now Airfix, land rover. Still a few touch ups to do before I glaze and detail the locomotive, but it's almost there. Any comments/thoughts/suggestions are more than welcome! (I am tempted to build a brother for it using the Forward Cab landy, but wait and see )
RMweb Premium Hippo Posted November 27, 2010 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 27, 2010 That looks really good. Which chassis did you use ?? I have been considering building a version of it since it was featured in one of my Landy mags a while ago, using a Hollywood Foundry Mono-ant for the back axle. Allegheny1600
WOW! He, he - that looks great and a lot of fun! I bet your model is a lot smoother running than the prototype:lol: (rail OR road! ). Go for it with the forward control landy, that would also be brilliant! Cheers, John E.
