tim-minay
hello, After pottering around for ages gathering ideas, thought i better have a go. Over the last few years i have made several attempts at a layout but never could quite gather enthusiasm to continue, however, over the past week, track laying has commenced and was completed earlier today. my interests lie within br blue diesels, mainly class 25's and 26's; however i do have 2 Bachmann railfreight sector 37's just becuase i liked the look of them in the shop! first pic shows my 25, 117 and 08 on the layout as a whole (gives a plan) this shows the class 117 at what will be the island platform finally the class 25 next to the other island platform thanks for your time, i will add more! Arpleymodeller
Will the whole layout be scenic or do you plan to use one side as a fiddle yard?
tim-minay
I will try and make it scenic all the way round That way it gives me much more to concentrate on!!!
RMweb Premium Hippo Posted December 12, 2010 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 12, 2010 That looks nice with plenty of room for scenics, where are you planning to base it ? town/countryside ? Cheers Owen
tim-minay
Hi Owen, I will probably make one side set in the suburbs of a city like Bristol, and then another side more rural, like somewhere in Somerset. Thanks for your interest, Tim
