Next batch of Class 70's

Recommended Posts

Why does 70002 keep following me? Here we see it (yet) again, on the Wentloog - Soton MCT Freightliner yesterday afternoon, just as the heavens open... At least the rain adds a few reflections to the proceedings.

I think the above went "kaput" between Warminster and Salisbury

Indeed it did, near the MOD sidings at Warminster. 59003 sent to drag it back to Westbury, a 66 from Maritime went on the front on the Down Reception to take 4O57 on to Southampton with the dead 70 tucked inside.

I had 70 007 on the Battersea stone job on Wednesday and the damned thing shut down on me twice without warning. I had to reboot it from scratch, the second time it happened the signalman was not best pleased as I was blocking the entrance to Stewart's Lane depot at the time!

Have you got a URL for that website? The image has been trawled off RMweb, as I created about ten years ago.
