My understanding is that 70801 today did

Eastleigh - Westbury with 56302

Westbury - Barton Hill with 56113 and 56094

Barton Hill - Eastleigh solo before working Eastleigh - Westbury engineers

56113 and 56094 left Barton Hill for South Wales

jo

that ties in with the daily roster sheet at least!

thursday for the 70s off liverpool docks, asked if i wanted to do it but i dont think i'd be very popular with my wife if i left our holiday to do it (although i can get a train direct back to crewe from here!!)

i wonder if i put a load of pillows under the duvet she'd notice

Sorry for the poor quality and composition of these shots.. I only had a minute spare and used my camera phone. All taken 12:15 today. The engineers seemed to be concentrating the efforts on the first and second locos in the line up and making a start on the third.

All three on rails..

]Hi Jim

As a man of roughly the same age. I think you should be safe, as long as the pillows remember to get up during the night and go to the loo.:-X

Insipid and Repulsive.

The names you suggest are both appropriate for one of the early prototype diesels. I think it was the Fell loco...... :jester:

cheers,

Mick
