I think Glory is a bit of an understament in this case!

Just a pity I'm over 200 miles away. Looks great and i would love to be able to see it for real. Last time I saw the ACE in the wild was the Ilfracombe portion departing towards Mortehoe in August 1962

Many thanks to the guys from bringing down Treneglos to our show today!

I'll sort some photos and will post a few when I get chance.

Off for a shower before heading out for a drink and food with the guys!

Had many good reports about TG today!

Thanks chap. We all really enjoyed today. Treneglos ended up as a RMweb creche for all sorts of very nice folk. Thanks to everyone that dropped in, said hello, had a drive or ate one of Stubbies scones. Nice friendly show and a great welcome. Superb bacon baps, pasties and cups of tea from the ladies in the kitchen. We love doing shows down here, smashing.

Thanks to the 3 Degrees for the welcome to No. 1 Son & myself today and for letting me play on TG - really like how the turntables make operating a doddle.

Glad you all enjoyed what Damian left of the cream tea.. Pics to follow.

Nope, and there was a complaint too from someone else...

Never heard of butter on scenes scones though, seems a bit northern-softie to me...

I used to drink in a pub where some kind soul had annotated the gent's urinal "Butter before bu**ery". He must have had a different idea of order of the alphabet, I think.

Actually, butter is on my shopping list today.

Dudders, are you going to get your burre in  Paris & to watch the Tour, or did you pop down to the Dordydong yesterday/today?

P

Le Tour isn't really me, vraiment. Enjoyed it passing my house in Kent in '94, and watching it do the same in the reverse direction on tv a decade and more later. And, sadly, Paris is a city I pass through rather than visit. Last had time there in freezing Jan 2005 for Deb's 50th. Once matters with my new lady are a bit more settled, I'm sure we'll be visitors, though. Taking a lady to Paris never did a chap any harm.....

" hey can I stick me lens in"

Quite jealous; that's exactly somewhere I've been wanting to stick the lens for a while. :)

My favourite shot too, but it needs a little camera to do it!

I must try these chat-up lines one day........  oopps wrong forum
