-missy-
Hello I received an email from Michael of Judith Edge Kits fame today listing the engines he has available in 2mm scale from his range of 4mm kits. The etches are really well done and thought out but dont come with any castings so can be classed as 'scratch aids'. The list goes as follows... We have the following 2mm etches in stock at present: EF1 Bo+Bo Harton 13-15 Bo-Bo ES1 Bo-Bo Janus 0-6-0DE Hunslet 05 0-6-0DM Sentinel 0-6-0DH Barclay D2400 0-6-0DM Barclay 06 0-4-0DM EE/HL 0-6-0DE Clayton cl17 Bo-Bo RH 165DS 0-4-0 LMS Hunslet 7051 0-6-0DM SR 11001 0-6-0DM Jackshaft 12023 0-6-0DE all above are ??16 each We have produced the following but currently out of stock: EB1 Bo+Bo EE1 2-Co-2 Hunslet 15" 0-6-0ST Hunslet 204hp 0-6-0DM Liverpool Overhead Rly rebuilt train (??20) 503 Wirral 3 car EMU (??26 - .008" brass) If anyone is interested there are pictures and ordering details on the website . Kenton
Gulp! If they are straight reduction etches I better get my eyes tested and a new set of magnifying goggles. Any idea of suggested motor/gearbox recommendations and if the castings are likely to follow? The temptation to build a set (7mm,4mm,2mm) might just be too difficult to resist. RMweb Premium Michael Edge Posted November 12, 2009 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 12, 2009 I'd better add that the 0-6-0 sentinel is now out of stock again, yes we do accept Paypal, send to edgemd@aol.com The etches include everything from the 4mm kits, some parts are very small but they are all there. We also give you a 2mm scale drawing, parts list and the 4mm instructions. Michael Edge
Etched Pixels
Gulp! If they are straight reduction etches I better get my eyes tested and a new set of magnifying goggles. And a good set of jigs. I thought the BHE 05 was the ultimate in 2mm/N kitbuilding terror until I got the Edge 06 etches
