scaro Posted January 30, 2011 Share Posted January 30, 2011 bought one of these today and it has 6.5mm dia wheels, but with 14.8mm axles, i assume to suit the van which has running boards. interestingly, not the same type of 6.5mm wheels as used on the previous 'seacow' bogie wagons which had them. those wheels were a solid faced metal wheel with one side insulated and one not. these are three-hole, metal-tyred wheels with plastic centres very similar to 6.3mm wheels used on stock previously. i hope -for my own reasons -they introduce 6.5mm as standard (i model TT narrow gauge for which they are exactly right.) it does look encouraging.
