Southend Belle
I have a fairly old Lima class 92 with a very stiff motor bogie. It runs OK on straight track but derails as soon as it reaches the curved track because the bogie won't turn. Managed to get the body off. Do I use a drop of oil, or get the file out???? 37114
It was quite a common fault on Lima locos, I used a file and fine emery paper when I had an extensive Lima fleet which seemed to work well enough, file the openning slightly, clean the flash off the supports on the motor bogie and generally will be much improved. Southend Belle
Hi thanks for the reply, I used the file and emery paper technique and it worked well. Also did a class 37 with the same problem. Regards, Bob
