Dieseldo
I'm really enjoying making a pair of whitemetal loco's from slimrails, but what I would really like is to build a Bayer Peacock (such as those on the IOM) and a WD Alco or Baldwin like Mountaineer on the Ffestiniog. I've not seen a suitable kit on the web, so whats out their?
RMweb Gold ngtrains.com Posted February 1, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 1, 2011 Mountaineer is an Alco 2-6-2 and there isn't a kit for it in 7mm scale [yet] Closest is the Baldwin WD loco from the same era but which is a 4-6-0. A kit for this is produced by Wrightlines. There is no 7mm scale kit for the Beyer Peacock Isle of Man loco's as far as I am aware.

KBscale
The Alco kit was started by Chivers some years ago. They have hinted recently that the kit will be finished off and put into production. d

Its well worth joining, and all sorts of things appear in their Secondhand Sales Department. Cheers, Dave.
