Update on the negative progress tonight :sad_mini:

I've stripped back shed #2 to bare wood again, stripping off the engineers brick and the painted cladding. I've also washed the brown/maroon paint from the cladding. The extra supplies of cladding have arrived so hopefully I'll be able to crack on this week.

The plan is to make shed #2 the same as #1, i.e. red bricks and blue cladding/roof.

Liking the vid, you've got a nice low down position too (as a person would view it).

Who's sound do you use in the 'shed'? It sound really prototypical.

BTW, just spotted the second to last wagon's wheel is popped out. :D

Keep up the great work!

Jack.

Thanks Jack

The video is taken on my phone (Samsung S5) so hard to keep steady.

Not sure what the sound is - I got 66101 as sound fitted from Kernow and all it came with was a little sheet of the sounds/numbers. Any idea how I find out?

As for the wheel - this was pointed out to me too by a colleague at work today - yes they fully know what I get up to in my spare time and ever since I 'came out' as a modeller, two more have confessed about their modelling - one is a tank/military vehicle builder and the other is into aircraft.

Wheel is now popped back into place.

  • 2 weeks later...

While I was away last week a couple of sound chips turned up - one for the Lafarge class 20 who features below and another class 37 one that can be heard /seen in the background.

Fitting wasn't quite as easy as I'd hoped, with the main problem being the length (or rather lack) of the wired between the chip and speaker, which was helpfully about 1cm too short to fit the speaker using the pre supplied bracket, so I've improvised for now with some electrical tape.

As you can glimpse in the final few seconds, there has been no progress on shed #2 and I'm away next week again.....

Anyway, enjoy.
