Hi folks, I am moving over to this set of topics as a continuation of my posts on 2010 challenge.

 

The Challenge is now over, well done El Davo!, I dont know how many are still working on their layouts.

 

I am still slowly forging ahead and will post any further progress here.

 

The lower level is now operational, a control panel to be built.

 

Any sign of a 2011 challenge????

Not alot done, but have been doing some running to make sure I can access the flower fiddle yard, make sure the everything runs as it should.

 

There are one or two issues which I am working on, the previously reported problem with the hoppers seems to have sorted itself out thankfully. A couple more photos below.This is a long view over the layout. To the right you can see the lower fiddle yard without cover. Its wired into 4 sections each able to hold a loco (tank) and up to 3 wagonsA ground level view showing the office block and a temporary factory behind. To the right of the office block is the road underbridge. This will have a mirror set into it to give that distance look.A view back towards the fiddle yard entrance.Another overview, this time form the factory end. The fiddle yard covers are in temporary place.

Good to see some positive progress, is the box of 'Wheaty Bangs' an intrinsic part of the layout design?
