Grumpy
Good afternoon, Due to recent dismantling of my current layout and to losing what was my layout room, I am revamping the layout! My question is, should I prime my Sundeala baseboards and if so, what with? Regards Grumpy
RMweb Gold chris p bacon Posted February 27, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 27, 2011 If it's just a case of sealing the board you could try some old emulsion (not vynil though as that will put a sheen on it) or just some diluted PVA. When I have used Sundeala in the past I have sculpted papier mache over it first and the paste did the same job.
Tim Chambers
If it is "priming" that is concerning you rather than "sealing" just follow the instructions on the wrapper- good swash down with water and dried under weights.Works fine for me.
