I really must get some modelling done - not to mention the fact I must get out more!

I'm starting to think every last one built has been photted by someone somewhere......

If only! There are designs which seem to have gone almost totally unnoticed - I've got quite a number of photos that are from others, and Peter Fidczuk worked hard at getting the more unusual for his Modellers Backtrack articles, but there are hardly any photos at all of diag 1/101 version - mine are after years in internal use http://PaulBartlett.zenfolio.com/brmowtmineral/e1c90d53f http://PaulBartlett.zenfolio.com/brmowtmineral/e13aa9b14

Interesting clerestory coach in the engineers' train.  Any idea what it might be?

It'll be running with the Breakdown crane. Mess or Tool Van. I think I read somewhere it had a modified open end and housed some hydraulic re-railing equipment.

Probably came from York but equally it could be fron Tees-side.

Edit. On a second look it's not the coach that housed the Hydraulic Equipment. It doesn't appear to be a NER loco on it neither so the crane may not be from York Or T-side...

Thanks Porcy.  I assumed that it was present as a mess van but was really thinking more of its origins rather than its breakdown train duties.  I was just intrigued by a clerestory coach still in service, albeit with the engineers, in 1959

Can someone comment on the appropriateness of images like this?  A guy on Flickr has a photostream jb303 where he's pulled together the works of a lot of people relating to Leeds area pics, and there's a rich seam of pics including 16T wagons.  Where the work isn't his, he's quoted the copyright owner, but there's no link to eg another pic on Flickr where said owner has published his work  Does this fall foul of Forum rules?  The link displayed here doesn't show the original author, but clicking on it takes you to jb303 on Flickr where the author is quoted.
