Could you add Natalie's and mine Woolwich Dockyard/Charlton Junction inspired layout. It hasn't a formal title beyond Woolwich Dockyard atm, but likely will end up named after a street nearby when we've finalised the plans and started on boards. The thread can be found here: http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/108757-woolwich-dockyard-working-title/

Thanks.

Hello all, I've just joined up here as it seems like it'll be a better place to get specific Southern Railway modelling info rather than over at the Hornby forum.

Anyway, my layout, I suppose you could call it "Wartime Sussex" is a 00 gauge layout themed on East Sussex in roughly 1943, whilst I am living at my parents' house saving slowly for a mortgage, it is just a smallish layout in the corner of a room that I'm using the practise scenery and weathering etc on, but I've got much bigger plans for when I have my own place! I can upload some photos here if people are interested to see :)

Hi GreenGiraffe

Welcome to the forum. It would be good to see your layout, if you start a thread in the layout topics section of the forum http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/forum/87-layout-topics/ and let me know the link I can then add it to the index of SR related layouts at the start of this thread.

Tony

OP duly updated and I have also sneakily included a link to my own new little project too which perhaps demonstrates the two extremes of Southern Modelling (size wise) on the forum!

Only just got round to looking at this thread. Can links be added for my 2 layouts

Oak Hill - Fictional LBSCR with SECR running rights set in the first years of the 20th century - This is my home layout and the only one receiving any attention at the moment.

Hailsham - LBSCR pre-WW1 condensed prototype location - This is my future exhibition layout although it hasn't seen any attention for a while due to a lack of time and space at home.

OP duly updated to incude two more different but inspired layouts as mentioned above.

Keep 'em coming folks, its a healthy and varied list of SR / BRs related layouts that are all well worth another look at if you haven't recently!

if there are any still missing from the list let me know please, the more the better!

Hi Graham

May I draw your attention to a serious SR layout thread that I have only just discovered:

http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/113725-basingstoke-1958-67-layout-and-stock/

Simply stunning!

Hi Graham, finally got round to making a thread for my not-quite-micro late 50s/early 60s BR(S) layout Tillingham, hope group members like it:

Thank you.

Well I have made another Layout that should really be added here!!!

Brighthelmstone Works - A photo plank based loosely on Brighton works in the 1870's - 4mm 00 gauge

and I have opened a thread for another one, although the layout doesn't exist (yet)

The Nutley, Crowborough, and Groombridge Light Railway - A fictional Narrow Gauge line based on a real proposal, set during WW1 - 4mm 009 gauge

Hi Graham

Please note my Westhaven layout is no more - but has been replaced by Dottery Junction a passing/exchange point ( a la Boscarne Junc) on my ficticious Yeovil Junction to Westhaven branch, comprising Dottery Halt and exchange with WR branch from Maiden Newton/Bridport to Charford (in memory of the late great John Charman).

See my Dottery Junction forum in Layout Topics.

Thanks

Derek
