Alan Kettlewell
Hi All, Just a short note for anyone interested in following progress on Midland Junction, I've posted a new photo gallery showing some shots of the station overbridge town scene, which is all but complete. Sorry but I'm not sure how to make a link to the gallery here but you can find it in Model Galleries entitled 'Midland Junction Station Road'. Of particular interest to me in this area was to add some perspective to the scene by continuing the road over the bridge into the distance. I made the backscene detail by manipulating MS Powerpoint drawings then printing and mounting on a piece of card, which was then stuck to the back wall. I think it's reasonable and would appreciate any opinions. Many thanks Regards Alan
nigelb
looks pretty good to me how far is it from the front on the layout to where the back scene is ?
Alan Kettlewell
Hi Nigel, Many thanks, there are more and clearer shots in the gallery. It's a 3 ft reach, just 'stretchable'. The entire layout is 3 ft wide following the walls of the railway room. Regards Alan
