Hi Ray,

You've made a lovely job of the buildings.

I can see you giving Richard a run for his money in the architecture stakes!

Keep up the good work pal & I'll see you at the next club meeting on the 10th Jan.

Compliments of the season & a happy new year

I have long last got my jumbo box of trees in a box after a month of waiting on monday 09/01/2012.

I have been making them up for the good part of the week.

I rolled the trees in Anita Decor exclusive glue, then sprinkled Anita Decor ground foam (very fine) dark green let that hang to dry over night, then hair laquer sprayed over and sprinkled with Anita Decor super foliage dark green then hair laquar all over to hold it all, the next step is the bark in which I used you gust it three or four coats of Anita Decor Exclusive scenery. All from International Models. So I have been planting trees to day.

Here is some pic's hope you like what I have done.

Hi Ray,

What can I say, the layout is looking fantastic.

You've made a lovely job of the trees, & they have transformed the layout.

It looked good before, but now, it looks terrific.

As soon as I get everything sorted out, I'm hoping to pop over.

I'm certainly looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.

Keep up the good work buddy, & I'll hopefully see you on Tuesday night.

Cheers mate,

Rob

Ray ,

the whole layout has all come together really well mate.

I love the area around the bridge, it just looks magic.

It looks like a lot of fun to use

Cheers

Anthony

Thanks for the comment.

Hi Ray, your layout is looking fantastic!

I just had a few questions to ask you.

Firstly, what did you use for the grass?

And also, what trees are they? and whatbrand are they?

Thanks

Hi JackBlack

The grass is static fibre's from Inernational Models, three shads of green (spring/summer/autunm) put on with the Grassmaster. http://www.internationalmodels.net/acatalog/Grass_Fibres.html

The trees I have put on my last report, they are a box of seamoss (Jumbo forest in a flash) I got from International Models, http://www.internationalmodels.net/acatalog/Seamoss.html

Click on the links.

Hi Ray,

Those trees make a huge difference to the appearance of Yard Shunter - looking very good indeed.

You just need to add the buildings and some details.

HI Richard

As you know I have the buildings on the go. I am thinking of the small details at the moment. I am thing of doing bundles of timber for the timber merchants yard and timber shelter.

I am detailing and weathering my 08 today, will bring to the club this week.

Thanks for your comment and see you on tuesday night
