Xerces Fobe2
I thought I would re post this -Footage of the former DEMU TVAG Exhibition layout with mainly EMU’s running in and out of the station, however as with Broad Street passengers are few and far between This video was produced from photos taken at Ripper Streets1st Exhibition at DEMU Showcase 2007 a little bit of fun with some appropriate music. Southernboy
I've seen somewhere pictures of this layout (not sure where - the previous incarnation of this website?) They were very atmospheric and an inspiration. Do you have plans for your next layout?
Xerces Fobe2
I am aware that there are plans a foot to build Ripper Street 2 by some of the guys who were involved with the original project for a bigger and better Ripper St in P4 which would be great to see. 10800
This video was produced from photos taken at Ripper Streets1st Exhibition at DEMU Showcase 2007 a little bit of fun with some appropriate music. The music is 'Wind Words' from Stomu Yamashta's 1973 album 'Freedom is Frightening' - sadly not available on CD. The violinist is Stomu's wife IIRC. IMO his best albums were the Go albums Go, Go Live From Paris and Go Too Xerces Fobe

Xerces Fobe2
Will it feature North London Railway architecture? I would imagine so however I am think it is still at the discussion stage and I will not be involved as I need to spend my time on Croxley WRD etc. Xerces Fobe
10800
Off topic for a mo!- Another Stomu Yamashta fan? Not exactly a fan, but yes the Go albums are also good. I bought FIF after seeing them live at the University Students Union in Liverpool.
Xerces Fobe2
Searching through my vast repository of photos I came across some old Ripper Street photos. These were not the best however I have done a little Photoshopping on them to remove background light and reflections without spoiling the overall theme of the layout. Guest oldlugger
Yes an excellent layout with good use of Peco track and third rail. The overall look of it is very convincing and just goes to show that you don't need hand laid track to produce something that is very realistic. I still have my copy of Railway Modeller with this layout in it. The EMU's are good too. Cheers Simon
FPH 603
Very inspiring. I dug out my RAILWAY MODELLING May 2008 issue and came across this layout. It looks realistic and there's certainly features from this I can take into my own layout.
