L49
They are seriously tasty. I like the teak finish. Look good behind an E class with condensing gear still fitted!

RMweb Gold Metr0Land Posted June 27, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 27, 2011 Very nice models both of you. I could do with a set of Ashburys (and for my timescale I could have them as either teak or maroon (they were maroon/brown paint at the very end)) but I think the skill required is a bit beyond me at the moment. RogerE
Etched Brass Ashburys (the Chesham Set) in 4mm are available from London Road Models (Clive Thomas originally produced them, and was going to produce the other, non-push-pull, coaches, but moved to Wales before he got started, and passed the kits over to LR). Joe Brook-Smith did produce vac-formed 4mm scale plasticard bodies for the Ashburys, but I don't know what happened to the moulds etc after his death. They were very good from what I saw of them..
