brian777999
The Bachmann City of Truro locomotive came with some plastic screw link couplers to fit on the loco. Does anybody produce these ? I have never seen them for sale anywhere but I would find them extremely useful things to have. I have already called Bachmann and they do not sell them seperately. craigwelsh
Not seen any separately, they are usually made in metal for people wanting to use them rather than cosmetic ones.
RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted July 14, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 14, 2011 Unless you want plastic ones as cosmetic ones only, then I agree with Craig - plastic screw link couplings won't last long in regular service.
Jon020
Hornby spares X5069 (that's from memory - do a search for cosmetic screw link coupling on here)... is the one I used to use - very nice it is - metal; better than plastic. Now use the exactoscale one - that you need to make - but boy, is it sweet!!!!
