Paul is correct, with the insulation and lining the temperatures in the shed are more temperate, certainly compared to the loft my original Exford layout was housed in! Now in the shed when its hot you can open the door and windows for ventilation, and when its cold a fan heater warms it up relatively quickly and the insulation keeps the heat in for longer. I also enjoy the headroom!;)

The double glazed windows and security door, plus the shed being part of the house alarm system, gives me peace of mind when away from home.

Very helpful (and reassuring). Thanks to you and the other responses to my comment.

I wonder if  a plan has come together for your legal problems yet Steve?

Sadly, no! The wheels of the law seem to turn v ... e ... r ... y   s ... l ... o ... w ... l ... y

Unless it is a speeding or parking ticket, of course.

Isn’t that always the case, anyway Millway Dock is lost in it’s new surroundings.E6A024DB-E08E-409A-A954-B08C49434CC1.jpeg.1d430ef699a47cbd6b2e3230b177c2ec.jpeg

Right that’s better, ok yes I have room for expansion but I am struggling to decide with wot, at present I have three thoughts:-

1. Extend Millway Dock in several ways.

2. Re-create a previous layout of mine which I did not like (the track plan was good) but some of the scenics were rubbish, in its original condition it was better, but I cocked it up with to many modifications.

3. Leave every thing as it is.

Best regards

Kevin

Thanks Peter, its crazy really over the last couple of months my head as been filled with moving house, getting our new place as we wish, building the shed, etc. now we are getting near the end  - my head is blank when it comes to thinking of what to do now.

Here's hoping you are all fit and well, and looking forward to a time when you may be able to visit a layout in my nice new shed.

Regards

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

I am sure you will come up with something.

Going well here just came out of another lockdown so getting a bit over it. We were planning a visit last year,  but covid put pay to that. Hopefully next year but who knows.

Cheers Peter.

I popped over to help out with some wiring on the three way points on Project X (-tension) and we had a play with the Leaford Port Authority fleet too.
Oh and Millway Dock will be at the Brockenhurst show at the end of May.
