RMweb Gold ruggedpeak Posted March 19, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 19, 2017 Almost a month later and this deal still seems to be on. You wouldn't have a product description or code for it by any chance - trying to see if they have it at my nearest one but can't find it on the website. I didn't paste a link as I am sure you have all been there before. Tony I don't see coaches at nearly £40 as a bargain! Ed (Tightwad)

Guest royal signals
I don't see coaches at nearly £40 as a bargain! Ed (Tightwad) Hi The cheapest I had found these coaches was Hatton's at £40, Hornby had them @ £49.99 each but today are out of stock.I was fortunate to be given a 20% discount voucher for the Hornby website, but this only reduced the price to £39.99. Bure Valley gave me an extra 4% discount which to my calculations equates to 24% discount off a currently and readily available model, but not direct from Hornby. aforsyth
Noticed that Hattons now have the 'other' new Sentinel (R3843 Crossley & Evans outside crank) at £40 (grrr...), and the Railroad Helmingham Hall in late BR green at £57. Looking at their Hornby bargains page, there are at least 9 TTS mainline locos on there, with prices from £70. http://www.hattons.co.uk/stocklist/1000389/Hornby_/BargainByManufacturer.aspx Alan

andytrains
I have a case of 12 tins of Magners that I bought in the damaged section at Tescos for £5 in December 2015. (Box was torn, all tins intact). Not even my kids will drink it. It has now gone out of date, so I am hoping it will ferment in the tin and eventually be something worth drinking. So much for a bargain.

Hi might be a better bargain than some of my post's, according to some folks on this site Tony ps Magners cider isn't that bad, mind you i'm used to Newcy Brown, even though its now brewed in Yorkshire (Tadcaster rather than Newcastle as it was at one time) Tony

wirey33
Aldi are currently doing boxes of six 500ml bottles of Magner's cider in original and pear flavours for £5.25 Is this stuff any good for removing paint from models or cleaning up brass kits perhaps? Or did I just stumble into a hitherto unknown section of RMWeb "Bargains that have nothing to do with railway modelling"?
