westcountryman Posted July 19, 2011 Share Posted July 19, 2011 Hi, I'm mid-way through modifying an unrebuilt west country loco, & I have painted the locomotive & tender bodies in the appropriate malachite green ( Humbrol satin 131) My question is this, what is the correct shade of yellow for the horizontal stripes for both the loco & tender, & is it a recognised Humbrol colour? I would like to totally handpaint my loco, rather than resorting to the usual waterslide decals, so I wonder if anyone can help. If however decals are the only viable way forward, then so be it.
