cupoftea
Hello All I have a Bachmann class 08 and the plastic cab handrails have been broken. I was wondering if anyone made replacement metal handrails? Thanks for any advice.
RMweb Premium Pannier Tank Posted July 23, 2011 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 23, 2011 Should be a reasonably simple job to make your own out of Handrail Wire. Other than that Bachmann will probably supply a replacement pack.

corax67
I do not know of anyone making replacements but it is really easy to make your own. All you need to do is pick up a length of fine brass wire (or I have seen staples used) and bend two 90 degree ends to fit the holes in the body. Use correction fluid (tipp-ex) to paint the handrails white then attach with a small spot of superglue. Hey presto - replacement handrails.
