daz9284
Yes Mick just bought one to try to see how it went together ok aprt from the ladders and walk ways which were a bit of a pain A quick question / help? Is it possible to get a picture of the underneath of the model, as I have recently bought 3x kits but i must say the instructions are not that clear. They would be better if they had diagrams than paragraphs of text. many thanks Darryl
pharrc20
I have some photos of an STS wagon 10623 that was once parked up abandoned in Oakleigh Sidings, Northwich and I took the chance to obtain some photos for detailing. I believe the pipework and equipment differs to that on the Blue Circle wagons. They are on Flickr but I haven't got access to links for them at present (at work). Cheers Paul

classy52
I wouldn't mind a rake of these Castle Cement PCA wagons if they ever come to fruition. Apart from some photo's I've seen on Google showing EWS Class 66's hauling these cement wagons what other prototypical loco's can you use with them from 2010 to present? They were around long before 2010.....Try 1982. http://paulbartlett.zenfolio.com/stspca This is the sort of project that would suit the latest entrant to the UK RTR wagon market. Cheers, Mick Thanks for the info, my question was specifically around which loco's/freight companies haul these today or in the last 8 years from 2010 onwards but if these wagons are no longer in service then I would have no use for them. They are very much in use today. Last week - https://www.flickr.com/photos/warspite14/28215513168/in/photolist-23PfTfA-24Y6GBT-GWtdtr-JZiT3Y And next month, they should be powered with GB locos...... I read that as "my layout is set post 2010, what can I use to haul them?", not anything to do with their introduction being 2010, and the general viability of the product. Overwhelmingly EWS 66s though, Lafarge use Freightliner, Tarmac use Colas, but Castle Cement seem to have a contract with EWS for haulage. Edit: cross posted with Mick, there's another option though!
