Bachmann Coupling This is the designed method for fitting the staple Hornby Type Coupling Lima Type I'm pleased to say I can now offer couplings for the current Hornby type couplings and for the old type Lima couplings. Price: ??4.99 +??1.00 P+P The hooks work well over conventional track although the length of the vertical shank can foul the operation of the hook over infilled track. The hook is robust and is slightly bulkier in appearance than the Bachmann hook although the visual impact would be reduced after painting in dark tones. I'd be interested in the practicalities of a slightly thinner hook with a shank that was 2-3mm shorter.
