D6975
Two shots of 37 411, taken a couple of years apart. Opposite sides of the loco, but both of no. 2 end. Spot the difference. 37680, yet another horn move plus a repair patch. Two shots of 37697, different variations on the black headcode at each end - different locations but taken around the same time. I'd almost forgotten about this one, 37704 pretending that it hasn't been rebuilt. Lastly 37707 with the full number between the markers. ps The shot of 37138 a few posts earlier is at Newport.

Ressaldar
Hi Yellowvanman, a wonderful thread and please keep the pictures coming. I am about to 'convert' a Heljan 7mm 37 - removal of skirts and associated bufferbeam works etc + my earlier works detailed on 37057. Again using 37057 as my prototype and carrying large logo blue livery, but without the headlight. I have come across just one (undated) photograph of it with yellow headcode boxes, taken I think at Stratford all of the other photos that I have seen with it in LL livery have the boxes painted black. Some questions if I am allowed - any idea as to when the photo might have been taken, could the No 1 end have been black and lastly, the closest that I can get to the installation date for the headlight, is around September 1992, do you have any closer dating information. I have the potted history from the cl37group but that does not give these details. regards Mike

Ressaldar
Hi Keith, many thanks for your speedy response. As you say, there are any number of 'domino' headcode boxea, but I have only come across the one in yellow, which makes it the likely candidate to do, even though I cannot put a date to it. regards Mike
yellowvanman
Hi Mike , 37325 (ex 37108) was in large logo with yellow boxes in 1987 but it did have headlight....

big T
Yep it was ex Barton Hill resident 377. I saw a piccy of the severed cab on WNXX on a wagon. A great pity that as I don't think there was much wrong with 377. Is 077 still with us?
