Nice photo Brian, do you have an other pictures of the old (LNWR?) station and goods yard? I remember seeing a few sidings with 16t mineral wagons in the old complex circa 1983. I've always been very interested in the railways of Oxford and the Fairford branch.

Cheers

Simon

I am affraid Simon I have nothing else showing Rewley Road.

This refurbishment has nothing to do with the Bicester line upgrade Jamie as It's totally isolated from the railway now. If you tried to run over it you would enter the Said Business School via the back door!

Having first gone through a block of flats standing on the site of the LNW route/ almost onto the Exchange (siding) which was immediately next to the LNW line and was originally the route for all freight transfers between the two Companies - I think it lasted until resignalling in 1973 although long out of use for its original purpose.
