AndrewC
Sweet Home Saskatchewan sounds fun to me. You'd need a hell of a lot of 6mm straw coloured static grass to get the right effect.
long island jack
It's going to be more of "adapting existing layout"
long island jack
Had a couple of small jobs to do on the layout after Hartlepool, I had a intermittent loss of power on a piece of track, which Jon fixed at the time (prodded it with his finger) turned out to be a broken wire, sorted. next was intermittent running of my S4, bunged up pick ups, sorted. couple of photos after the jobs were done. fraggfish
Well deserved for your excellent layout. Still one of the best I've seen of any scale or persuasion. Great stuff.
Zomboid
I'm not surprised, it's an inspirational layout, rather than an aspirational one. Congratulations on flying the flag so successfully.

long island jack
Changes to Rust St after a lot of thought, I've added some power poles and cables, had to place them where there was less chance of them being in the way (when uncoupling with skewer/cleaning track), only safe place was Rust St, also added some extra trees and some washing lines with washing hanging out. B&W SHOT!!! Ray Edited February 2, 2017 by long island jack

long island jack
Added a few small details to the rest of the layout tree next to three crowns tank car unloading point at Tino tools, this will never leave the scene, you just have to move it and re-spot when finished, should add a bit more fun to switching trees at Clintons Cables to buildings and to finish off a photo of H10-44 switching(with new Dollar general banner)think thats about do it, unless I think of something else!!!!!! If your any where near Stafford call and say hellooooooo! Ray Edited February 2, 2017 by long island jack

Gene
An awesome layout well-deserving of the award, now further enhanced( if thats possible) by your latest additions and changes. The power lines really add to the gritty industrial atmosphere and the laundry hanging out to dry is an excellent, very rarely modelled detail. Well done indeed and congratulations!!!! Cheers Gene
