long island jack
Mike,I'm sure everything should be ok by May, (fingers crossed) They say that things come to those who wait, never a true word said, been looking for what seems like years and years, but finally cracked it, hopping to have it ready for Derby, yep another Alco Trouble is ,no one seems to have marker lights in stock!!!! Allegheny1600
Hi Ray, You just can't beat a lovely Alco! Fyi, Anoraks (Sophie) had quite a few reasonably priced CNJ Alcos in stock at the Nottingham show, I was tempted but kept myself limited to buying items for my layouts. (atual need rather than "nice to have"!). Cheers, John.

long island jack
Hi Gene, glad you enjoyed the story so far, the last piece of the jigsaw, is slowly being finished, but sadly no one has marker lights in stock, so do I do with or with out? the RS3's are waiting decoders and the funds to buy them, hopefully done before it's next exhibition, i've a few more CNJ boxcars to weather and another caboose to find(need a brown one) Ray

w124bob
I notice the two RS3's have different marker lights, 1542 looks slightly easier to do using CalScale markers mounted vertically into angular brackets made from micro strip. But look at all those retro fit body side air filters. Not sure about the markers on 1552 http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/locoPicture.aspx?id=69576.
