Biscuit tins are highly collectable.

I've got a London bus biscuit tin.  There's around a dozen "vintage" or "r@re" Playcraft HO wagons stored inside it which haven't seen the light of day for a long time.  Maybe I'm missing a trick by not listing the tin with its contents on eBay!

I had one once (it was a gift), it had biscuits in, I ate the biscuits and after a while gave it to Help the Aged, they got a pound for it.  Obviously neither they nor I were trying hard enough!

I think the tin, with biscuits, retails about the £9 mark.  As I said, mine was a gift...

They were only about a fiver when they contained toffees.

Maybe the biscuits version is R@RE!!!

As has been stated above, the seller is not “Silver Fox Models”, rather he is “Gostude”, who has something of a reputation on this thread.

Silver Fox Models are an established small trader supplying resin-bodied conversions and full kits for various locos and multiple units.  I have a few of their products and they are not badly painted but, in my opinion, could be painted to a finer standard.  I have bought and painted some of their resin coach bodies.

So now you know the difference between Silver Fox Models and Gostude.

Cheers

Darius

Yes indeed. Silver Fox models are actually not bad. They have always specialised in the non-RTR gap filling so obviously have been steadily contracting their range as manufacturers have caught up!

I have their 81 on a Hornby 87 chassis. 205 fully finished when the bog standard Hornby is 170 plus is hardly unreasonable.

Check out his camouflage jacket lol!

To be fair I went through the rest of his ‘real’ listings to see if there was any other silly stuff so I bet I’m not the only one! Good ploy

@PhilJ W I gotta ask: how did you achieve a reputation of 99,867 from 8,006 posts!? That's just mind blowing!

Wheeltappers posts are not included in the total posts but the likes on all posts are are.
