Roy P
.......never understood why Bachmann never put the motion bracket on the loco?....... Darren Back in the day (1996), Bachmann stated that they were aware of the omission and it was deliberate due to a notion that such detail would not be robust enough. Times change. As it happens, the Bachmann Ivatt tank was the second loco (after Union of South Africa) that I bought upon my return to the hobby after buying my son his first train set. As such I still see the split chassis Ivatt as a new generation model (compared with what I had before!) and have to be reminded how old my 41272 ( a local-ish engine) actually is. In 1996 my son was 3 years old and I was 35! Times change....Oh yes. RP
