HARRYMALLARD
Ok I've been on here for a while so it's about tie i started posting something! Milford SE It all started when I was six. I had always loved vehicles especially trains. One year whilst at the annual model railway exhibition at the royal showgrounds in Claremont My Dad said the magic words... Do you want a train set? my answer of course was yes! At firs the layout was set up in our loft which overlooked the lounge room on some foam board. however following a house move to Subiaco it was first set up in my room on a 6x4ft sheet of chipboard however this moved to the "empty room" where it changed into a 4x16ft the longest layout I have ever owned. Then we moved to Malta where it was first set up in my bedroom where a main board of 2.5x8 ft with three 1 ft wide boards that lined the walls. We then moved house, again and this is the final move. the board described above is carried down the street to our new house. Where it is set up in the garage. after a while we have now made a second board of 3x8 ft that is attached via hinges and is folded up when needed. Pictures will be posted soon.. Tim V
Looks like you're having a lot of fun there - which is what it's all about! I lived in Malta many years ago, went back there last year for the first time. It's a lovely place. Lived in Selema on Prince of Wales Rd, your challenge is to find its new name. Took me ages of searching via the favourite search engine.
