georgeT
Well now that the Q1 build has finished apart from a very heavy weathering later this month, l am getting on with the two other Bulleids in the to do pile, the first is a west country rebuilt with a 4500 gallon cut down tender, and the other will be a rebuilt Battle of Britain with a 5500 gallon tender, both are early David Andrew kits...…(2006) 12

Despite "missing bits" (was this the fault of the kit or a careless previous owner?) would you still recommend MOK if I want a Q1?
Andrew P
She's looking very good George, but can't you convince the owner to have a PROPER heavy weathering job with lots of rust and streaks etc? Here's an OO one I did earlier. 10

Bit of both Buddy most of the brake gear was missing and had to be scratch built and parts of the tender were also missing, the kit was made in 2006, so l hope its been up dated by now, but yes you can still make a convincing loco.. Andrew P
That look neat mate, is it me, or does the Cab roof look lower than the Tender top? The Cab floor seems to line up with the Tender. I'm sure it's right knowing you, but the angle of the pic it looks awkward.
