I’ve sourced a body but it came without a chimney and when I’ve searched the usual suspects on t’web I can’t find anything, even the wonderful Albert Goodall draws a blank. Any help much appreciated, thanks. //Simon Most of Albert's parts are now available from RT Models. 1

So many problems with these Hornby models (said will real emphasis on the "So many") Problems with gears splitting and incorrect chimneys and who knows when the chassis will suddenly rot away to nothing. No more! I have decided, that there is only one way to go. Back to basics, old school if you must. The Airfix kit for me. 😄 I have started a thread on building 34055 Fighter Pilot using the Airfix kit mounted on a Crownline Chassis and enhanced by the mastery of Mr Goodall. And the result. These Airfix/Kitmaster kits come up ok, if you you give them lots of love. (and I mean LOTS!) 6

(and I mean LOTS!) 34055 looks really good the roof weathering is good, must be nearly ready for a re-paint! The tender I am going to pair with 34030 is a much modified Airfix kit and you are right, they need lots of TLC to make a reasonable model. RMweb Premium John Besley Posted February 8 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 8 Bit of a long shot but I know someone will be able to point me in the right direction but does anyone have either a drawing or the full-size article... I need the outline dimensions of a SR loco headlamp please, as I need to make one for one of my projects
Wickham Green too
In the SpamCan thread, are you asking about Bulleid's electric lamps or a standard 'fossil fuel' one ?
