I was always in goal at school. You're lucky. At school the 2 captains would pick everybody except me and then argue, forcefully, that the other team should have me! It turns out, 30 years later, that I can't see in 3D and never have! I don't think I've ever hit a cricket ball or golf ball. The football I just hoofed.
