Well, I had no idea AM were going to offer a limited run of rtr kits of the 1900, instead, back in early 2018 or was it 2017(?) I bought two of his kits along with a couple of Bachmann SD40 el cheapo via eBay. I've only built up one of them as the process of cutting down the Bachmann frame and reassembling them to the correct size was more than a handful of trouble. Regardless, one is built. I was going to start on the second one for eBaying when I saw the Sudexpress flyer...., think I'll leave the kit alone..... but darn it I've just noticed I've knocked a windscreen wiper off.

I bought the sound project, created working ditch lights that operate white/red or white both ends etc. Then weathered it.  While the resin details aren't bad overall, I did think a much better method of building the trucks is required. Following AM instructions, I reckon they'd not last many years of abusive use. Since AM are charging 450 euros for a built one, I think I'm fine having only spent 230 euros to build this.

If I ever switch from UK modelling, I could be so tempted by one of these! :D

Very nice too.... complicated still further by an RTR one from Sud withing a year or so. That said it just means we'll have more and some 1900s and not just 1930s..... Nice to see you have the oil leaking out of 'ALL THE RIGHT PLACES'!?

Not long now! Campo stock is being fettled for Perth Show on the 29th 30th June. Look forward to seeing many of you there. Here is an Andrew Donnelly shot that sort of encapsulates everything that we try to achieve with Campo De Leste.

Well Perth Show seems an age ago now but I have been away (and been busy) and have only just got to posting some more images. We had Arran Aird of C-Rail/RealTrack take some layout photos under properlighting and I sneaked a few with the phone at the same time.

Very exciting news starting to leak out of Portugal. The French designed 2600s are being assessed for some reinstatements. 1565 is at Poceroa for reinstatement for car traffic with others. 1400s being assessed from Argentine export group (that never went) for reinstatement from store and 1805 was moved as well..... Never say never. The most exciting week for years? Sorefame coaches being looked at too for reinstatement/ aircon.71512391_1081416965400467_8023271321523716096_o.jpg.d0ca5661afbf47313849702ce25d6e58.jpg 10812393_Screenshot2019-09-25at08_29_46.png.6d3f731614a6ca2bb29ba446df1e864b.png

More evidence of why 2020 might yet trun into a Golden Year in Portugal. Long stored 2601 out on test yesterday with the Schindler coaches with reinstatement imminent for newly electrified lines. (Not my photo) We have 1400s coming back, more Schindlers being refurbished, Sorefame coaches being refurbished and 1550s due back on Sines freight flows very soon too.

Roadsrails? I meant I don't know what you are looking for? 'General Arrangements'? Give us a clue

Just a GA of front side views of the CP1400 and CP1800 please

Can't find online anywhere.

Might be better just starting with just a pair of bogies, or perhaps...more?

Good news CP lovers. The 1400 and Schindler services on the Upper Douro valley look to be go for summer 2020. The lack of 1400s is the main issue at present. Too many gone to Medway and the need to get the ones that they have left kicked back into life. Still, fingers crossed for some Moose action. If you cannot make it to Portugal, Wigan is your next best option on 3rd and 4th of October for Wigan Finescale Show where Camp De Leste will appear
